Hello, readers! 

Hemline is a student-led anthology dedicated to sharing and highlighting the creative voices here at SMLS. For the last few years, Hemline has been physical. From our origins of a one page newsletter, to a printed magazine, to our PDF formats, Hemline is constantly evolving. But we are happy to present our newest iteration: the Hemline Website. This year, our theme is Making Waves which analyzes the big and small ways that change is created in the world around us. The continuous format of this website perfectly reflects the rolling of waves and the infinite opportunities we have to create change. 

We would like to thank all of the students on our team, especially those on the Design Team who created and regularly update the website. As well, we would like to extend a massive thank you to our teacher leads, Ms. Scarfo and Ms. Vickman, who have encouraged us, led us, and nurtured our ideas. Finally, we would like to thank you,the readers, for taking the time to explore and interact with our anthology. We hope that you have as much fun discovering it as we did creating it.
