Whispering Waves
A Poem by Yingxuan C.
Waves don’t shout, but hum a song,
A quiet one not to be heard.
Bit by bit, they carve the cliff
And teach sand how to stir.
Even crabs find a new home,
Softly nudged by a wave,
Never knowing something so gentle
Could change one’s way
Maybe we’re like that—
Quiet gestures, small motions,
Together, shaping the shorelines
Of others’ oceans
